CHENNAI:  Adithyan Vijayakumar, son of a hotelier in T Nagar, has moved the TN State Human Rights Commission with a complaint seeking suitable action against Thirunavukkarasu, Deputy Commissioner of Police (L&O) and two other cops attached to T Nagar police station, allegedly for attacking him.In his complaint, Adithyan (25), a software engineer residing in Santhome, alleged that he was attacked by the cops without any provocation, when he went to the hotel to meet his father in the night of May 21 last. He also attached a CD containing the assault, filmed by closed-circuit television cameras at the entrance of the pub of the hotel. A case had also been foisted against him, Adithyan further alleged.Contending that the action of the cops was a clear case of violation of the human rights enshrined under the Constitution, he prayed for appropriate action against the cops, besides payment of compensation of `50 lakh.
