Remark against TDB: KSSP flayed

SABARIMALA: Akhila Bharatha Ayyappa Seva Sangham general secretary N Velayudhan Nair has lambasted the Kerala Sasthra Sahitya Parishad (KSSP) for its remark against the Travancore Devaswom Board decision to conduct deepardhana at Ponnambalamedu on the Makaravilakku time on January 15.Velayudhan Nair questioned the role of the KSSP in commenting on matters connected with the sentiments of crores of pilgrims.Raking up the issue in the name of ecology and environment of Ponnmabalamedu, the Parishad is having hidden agenda against Sabarimala pilgrimage, he said in a statement.Velayudhan Nair said that the controversy over Mullaperiyar dam issue already affected the pilgrimage, causing severe hardships to the pilgrims from Tamil Nadu.
