KOCHI: Police searched the offices of ‘Vision 21st Creates Leaders’ company in Thrissur and Kochi on Wednesday. The raids were conducted in connection with the probe on money chain fraud registered in Thrissur and Wayanad districts. In Kochi, Wayanad police searched the office of the Anglo-Indian Academy at Manorama junction. Wayanad Superintendent of Police, J Jayanath said that the police examined documents in the office, as part of the probe. In Thrissur, the raid was held at the office of Vision 21st Creates Leaders at Machingal Lane at M G Road. The case is registered under The Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes(Banning) Act 1978. We have seized old brochures on courses conducted at the institution. However, the institution is functioning as a money chain company,” said Deputy Superintendent of Police, C Wahid, DSRB, Wayanad, who is in charge of the investigation. The Town East police in Thrissur had registered a case against Edison Franz, the managing director of Vision 21st, on August 3, 2011. Vision 21st Creates Leaders is a company that claims to conduct training sessions for professional excellence but it has now faced a situation that would contradict its motto.
