THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Justice M R Hariharan Nair Commission inquiring into the Pulmedu tragedy held its sitting here on Saturday. Two persons belonging to the medical team who were on duty at Uppupara on the day of the incident gave evidence regarding the tragedy that occurred on January 14, 2011. The next two sittings of the Commission will be at Peermade guest house on February 6 and 7. The sitting will be for examining the drivers of the overturned vehicles, the owners of Eco Development Committee stalls and the policemen who were on duty at Uppupara who are all natives of Idukki district. The next sittings in Thiruvananthapuram will be on February 9 and 10 and collection of evidence would end on the same day.The report will be prepared and presented before the end of March.
