Principal and a teacher arrested for death of 3-year-old child in a lift in Hyderabad school

Hyderabad: The principal and teacher of an elementary school in Hyderabad have been arrested after a 3-year-old girl died when she got stuck in the school's elevator.

Police have registered a case against the school for negligence. The State Child Rights Commission has issued a notice to the school and asked how an elevator was installed in an elementary school.

Reacting to the incident, the parents of the child said that school should take responsibility for the death of their kid.
