Plea on Fateh Maidan Club admitted

HYDERABAD: Justice KG Shankar of the AP High Court on Wednesday admitted a writ petition for take over of the management of Fateh Maidan Club by the Sports Authority of India.As an interim measure the judge restrained the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh not to create any lien or cancel the fixed deposits in its possession of the Fateh Maidan Club.The judge also directed that no new members be inducted into the club pending further orders.Prithvi Raj Reddy, a member of the club, filed the petition challenging the take over of the club by the Sports Authority of India.
