The Neyveli Lignite Corporation underwent an infrastructure revamp as a new link road between Jothi Ramalingar Salai and NLC Corporate Office was laid by the organisation. The newly laid road and another air-conditioned auditorium were inaugurated by Surender Mohan, Chairman and Managing Drector of NLC, here on September 10.
The CMD informed that the air-conditioned auditorium would be named after the former CMD of NLC, S Yegneswaran, who was the sole reason for the tremendous growth of NLC.
He inaugurated a 305-metre-long approach road laid at a cost of `24 lakh. This 7.50-metre-wide road connects the post office, mini auto stand and corporate office, and also serve as a bypass road for the main entrance.” said Surender.
