VISAKHAPATNAM: Five vehicles of Health Minister DL Ravindra Reddy’s convoy lost control and collided with each other on NH-5 at Kancharapalem area here on Saturday. However, none was injured in the incident.Health Minister DL Ravindra Reddy and Minister for Tribal Welfare P Balaraju were heading towards the Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences VIMS) at Hanumanthawaka when the incident occurred.Sources said the driver of the first vehicle in the convoy applied a sudden brake to avoid hitting a pedestrian crossing the road. Confusion prevailed soon after with the result that the following four vehicles also lost control and collided with each other.Though the vehicle carrying Ravindra Reddy and Balaraju did not collide with any vehicle the duo were reportedly left in a shock. The five vehicles have been partially damaged. Traffic police arrived and managed to get the convoy to VIMS.
