Massive cleaning programme at Sabrimala

SABARIMALA: A massive cleaning programme, ‘Punyam Poonkavanam’, was undertaken at Sannidhanam and surrounding areas jointly by government departments, police and employees of the Travancore Devaswom Board for two hours from 9 a m on Wednesday.The cleaning drive was led by Thantri Kandararu Maheswararu at Sopanam. Melsanthi N Balamurali, Sabarimala police coordinator K Padmakumar, Travancore Devaswom Board member K V Padmanabhan, special officer P Vijayan, Pathanamthitta SP K K Balachandran, Sabarimala devaswom executive officer M Satheeshkumar and special festival officer V S Jayakumar participated.
