PATHANAMTHITTA: Laksharchana was held at Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple on Friday. Thantri Kandararu Maheswararu performed the brahmakalasa pooja, marking the beginning of the ritual after the usha pooja. The offering concluded with kalasabhishekam on the idol of Lord Ayyappa during uchcha pooja.Sahasrakalasam and kalabhabhishekam were the other special rituals held at the temple in the afternoon. Udayasthamana pooja, padi pooja and pushpabhishekam were also held.The hill shrine will be closed on Saturday evening after athazha pooja and Harivarasanam. Laksharchana, sahasrakalasam and kalabhabhishekam will be the special rituals to be conducted on that day.TEMPLE TO REOPEN ON OCTOBER 25The hill shrine will be reopened on October 25 evening for celebrating Chithira Attathirunal, slated to be held on October 26.
