BANGALORE: A woman architect and her male colleague allegedly twisted the hands of Banasawadi traffic woman police station’s police inspector Meenakshi after the latter stopped the architect, as she was speaking over the mobile phone while driving. The inspector filed a case against the duo. Amulya, the architect and Madhu, her colleague, allegedly assaulted the inspector. According to the police, the inspector along with her staff was on a routine check near Hennur Cross on Tuesday afternoon. Meanwhile, a police constable stopped Amulya’s car as she was speaking over the phone. The constable directed her to go to the inspector. But, Amulya allegedly engaged in an argument with the inspector and claimed to know senior police officers. “She called Madhu to come to the spot and the duo picked up a quarrel with the inspector and manhandled her. In the melee, the duo allegedly twisted the inspector’s hand and the fight stopped when others intervened.”
