Kushboo hits back against charges

Kushboo has said she would not react to a latest controversy surrounding her, after she attended a Telugu film function by wearing a saree which had images of Hindu Gods.

"I am not going to react to the charges made by someone who want to get publicity by using my name. I have better things to do," she said.

Seeking an explanation and apology from the actress politician, the Hindu Makkal Katchi accused Kushboo of hurting the sentiments of Hindus.

"How can one wear the pictures of Lord Rama and Lord Hanuman in such a way," according to the office-bearers of the party, who have demanded unconditional apology from Kushboo.
