BHUBANESWAR: KIIT University readies itself for its annual science and techno management festival beginning February 14.Around 40 events will crowd the fest, leaving one spoiled for choice. The institute that boasts of an excellent robotic society will conduct Robowars competition. Participants will be pitching their robots against others for a win. Computer gaming competitions like Need For Speed, Lord of the Rings and much more will keep the participants busy. The quizzing event is supposed to be the highlight of the fest that garners maximum excitement. One of the events of the tech fest will also see paper presentations on various concepts from the field of science. The fest also has slots for band and dance competitions. Though the Indian Science Congress did delay its publicity, the university has greater plans for the 6th edition of the fest.The publicity team is already touring the country for participants. With a database of around 2,000 people, the organisers have their hands full inviting one and all. They have roped in Ash King of Te Amo fame, for the celebrity night. He will be performing on February 16, the concluding day of the fest. The complete tech fest will be organised on the main campus of the university. The registration for the event has started. All the outstation participants will be provided accommodation on the campus.
