New Delhi: Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor is the latest Bollywood celebrity to be waxed at Madame Tussauds.
However, the 30-year-old actress will be the lone Bollywood figure at the museum in Blackpool, as the other five stars, Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai have their statues at Madame Tussauds, London.
Kareena will also flag off a global exhibition where the Bollywood wax figures will travel to six cities including London, Hong Kong and Bangkok, reflecting a growing global interest in Bollywood.
"It is an honour and a privilege for me to have my wax figure at Madame Tussauds and even more so to flag off a global Bollywood exhibition," Kareena said.
Her wax figure will be unveiled in October 2011.
