ELURU: The Chief Minister here on Tuesday, launched ‘Indira Gandhi Matrutva Sahyog Yojana’ (IGMSY), a central government sponsored programme to help pregnant women with conditional cash transfer.About 1.05 lakh women from Nalgonda and West Godavari districts will benefit from the scheme.About Rs 10 crore will be spent for the scheme which is aimed to improve health and nutrition status of pregnant women as well as their young infants.The scheme will provide partial compensation for the wage loss of the mother to an extent of Rs 4,000.
