An Indian-origin businessman Shrien Dewani was arrested in London for allegedly organising his wife's murder in SA.

An Indian-origin businessman Shrien Dewani was arrested in London for allegedly organising the murder of his wife Anni in South Africa. He has been denied bail.

Dewani, a British businessman from Bristol, will remain in custody in London after South African authorities opposed his bail worth 250,000 pounds.

South African authorities want to extradite Dewani for questioning after a taxi driver confessed that he was offered 1400 pounds by Dewani to kill his wife.

Dewani has denied any involvement in the murder and told the court he will not consent to extradition.

Anni Dewani was killed on their honeymoon when gunmen ambushed a taxi she was in, with her husband.
