Jeev says he can handle the pressure of the big events.

Bangkok: Indian Jeev Milkha Singh says he has what it takes to win a Major title after finishing top of the Asian Tour's order of merit and becoming the circuit's first "million dollar man".

Singh, who netted $1.4 million in prize money to clinch the overall title for second time in three years, said he could handle the pressure of the big events and was ready to take his game to a new level.

"Winning twice in three years is special, It has given me a lot of confidence," Singh told reporters at the Volvo Masters of Asia in Bangkok on Sunday.

"I've proven myself again and you then try to move on to bigger things. I think I've got the game to win a Major."

The 37-year-old has had his finest season so far, with the Singapore Open, co sanctioned with the Asian and European circuits, one of his three victories this year.

Singh, whose father was an Olympic track athlete and mother the national volleyball captain, said he hoped his mental strength would lead him to one of the four biggest prizes in golf.

"It all depends on the mindset that week and how you deal with the pressure," he said. "I feel I do have the game and hopefully before my golfing career is over, I will have a Major under my belt."
