HYDERABAD: The special CBI court on Thursday posted for further hearing on the matter of providing copies of documents recovered by the CBI to the Income Tax department to November 14. The Income Tax officials have filed four petitions before the special CBI court a few days back, seeking directions to the investigating agency to provide information on the seized material, so the department could 'frame' pending assessment of Jagan's companies and the Emaar Hill Township Pvt Ltd. Earlier, the Income Tax department had approached the special CBI court seeking copies of documents seized by CBI during probe of the corruption allegations against Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy and irregularities in Emaar deal.
A similar application has also been filed earlier by Bangalore IT officials, seeking information found by CBI in the raids regarding Jagan Mohan Reddy's assets. While the Income Tax department of Hyderabad filed two petitions, the Bangalore IT department filed two petitions seeking copies of Jagan Mohan Reddy's and to transfer the money seized during raids in houses of mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy and his brotherinlaw BV Srinivas Reddy.
