BANGALORE: The High Court on Tuesday adjourned further hearing of the anticipatory bail application of former chairman of Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) Dr HN Krishna who is facing allegations of nepotism in appointments till Wednesday.Criminal Investigation Department (CID) police had filed a complaint against Krishna on August 11. He is accused of irregularities in appointments made to Group A and B posts during his tenure as chairman of the KPSC in 1998, 1999 and 2004.The CID, which was under attack by the High Court for its lethargic approach in conducting investigation into the KPSC scam, had filed an affidavit stating that FIR has been filed against persons involved in misappropriation.Krishna is accused of forcibly obtaining signature of one the candidates, Allah Baksh, on some documents and using them to disqualify him from the job which he secured by merit. Further, there are allegations against KPSC officials that they were biased and inclined towards certain categories at various stages of selection. The court had asked them to file objections on August 29. The single bench headed by Justice H Billappa adjourned the further hearing to Wednesday.
