HC orders police protection to hospital

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Wednesday directed the police to grant protection to the Angamaly Little Flower Hospital.A Division Bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Manjula Chellur and Justice P R Ramachandra Menon passed the order while considering the petition filed by the hospital management seeking police protection for the smooth functioning of the hospital. The hospital authorities argued that the nurses strike affected the functioning of the hospital. The court granted protection for the hospital till the next date of hearing of the case.
