Gear Glass: Samsung's answer to Google Glass reportedly in the works

New Delhi: Samsung seems to be actively working on wearable devices, which are believed to be the next big thing in the world of technology. Maintaining its supremacy against Apple, Samsung launched its smartwatch before Apple, and now the Korean giant is reportedly building a competitor to the Google Glass.

Citing Eldar Murtazin's tweet, the founder of Russian website Mobile-review, BGR reports, "Samsung is planning to unveil its own version of Google Glass, tentatively dubbed Gear Glass, in early 2014."

Samsung is rumoured to debut with its Gear Glass in the April-May timeframe, which suggests that Samsung's Gear Glass may go neck and neck with the Google Glass, which is likely to hit the market at any point in 2014.
