New Delhi: The audiences have still not forgotten the sizzling chemistry between Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in 'Band Baaja Baaraat' and the couple is again all set to put the silver screen on fire. 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' will also check the real acting potential of Ranveer Singh who looked impressive in his debut film.

One good Friday can take the actors to the seventh sky but coming Fridays have the potential to work as a parachute which slowly and steadily brings the high flying wannabes to the ground.
The promos of 'Ricky Bahl' are showing Ranveer as a conman who only understands the language of money.
Yash Raj Films has once again shown faith on their tested formula of hero from the Punjabi background. The sultan of deception, Ricky Bahl charms his victims across the country and then rips them off.
The conman finds a tough nut to crack in Ishika Desai (Anushka Sharma) whose brilliant sales skills can make a bald man buy a comb and she is the only hope of the cheated girls.
The story is not a direct tussle between Ishika and Ricky Bahl. In fact, there are 28 ladies from 17 different cities who are conned by the same man with different names.
Dimple Chaddha (Parineeti Chopra) is one of them. The overweight Delhi girl loses a major part of her father's fortune to her fitness trainer Sunny Singh.
Similarly, Raina Parulekar (Dipannita Sharma) and Saira Rashid (Aditi Sharma) too lose their bank balance to the ultimate fraud.
Fate brings the three hugely cheated ladies to one place where they swear the revenge.
It's almost the same team which had come up with the surprise hit 'BBB' except the fact that Devika Bhagat has replaced Habib Faisal as the screenplay writer. Faisal has penned down the dialogues.
A good part of the film showcases Delhi in the backdrop which is Habib Faisal's forte. He has done excellent writing with Delhi as the set up in 'BBB' and 'Do Dooni Chaar'.
The musician duo of Salim-Sulaiman has made two catchy tunes in 'Aadat Se Majboor' and 'Jazba'. Shilpa Rao's voice excels in chartbuster song 'Jazba'.
Maneesh Sharma has been associated with YRF since a long time and he knows the typical audience base of the production house. Sharma had done commendable performance as director in 'BBB' and thus the movie goers will be hoping for another sleek film from him.
Having Aditya Chopra as the producer will certainly help the director to hit the right pulse of the audiences.
The film is more important for Ranveer than Anushka simply because Anushka has been appreciated in 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' and 'Badmaash Company' also but Ranveer has just one release till date. The way he has behaved in various award shows and TV programmes will put extra pressure on him. Ranveer does not look like a newcomer in his interviews and thus the public has all the rights to expect a confident show from him.
