They abducted Ajesh as the latter allegedly failed to repay Rs 6 lakh which he had borrowed from the mother of Aji and Shaji. The police also seized the Santro car in which Ajesh was abducted.Ajesh had told the police that after abducting him, the gang threatened his mother, who was forced to transfer the ownership of their property near Chacka in the name of the mother of the accused. After the ownership was transferred, the gang dropped Ajesh at Vanchiyoor on Thursday afternoon. The police registered a case on a complaint filed by Ajesh and mother. However Ajesh’s family alleged that they had earlier submitted petitions to the police about the gang. But there was no action from the side of the police.
