CHENNAI: Rajalakshmi Education Private Limited and University of Worcester have signed a Progression Agreement to offer Indian students a chance to pursue an International Bachelors Degree in Game Design and Development and a Masters Degree in International Business. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed to this effect on March 14 in the British Deputy High Commissioner’s office premises by Thangam Meganathan, Chairperson, Rajalakshmi Education Private Limited and Christopher Taylor, Senior International Officer at the University of Worcester.Speaking on the occasion, Kartar Singh, Deputy Director (South) of British Council, Chennai said, “Internationalisation of education would be the only way forward in a globalised era”.Earlier, Thangam Meganathan in her address noted that partnering with UK was a preferred option for the Rajalakshmi group as UK was known for its high quality of education. Christopher Taylor in his address spoke of the formidable record that the University of Worcester had in terms of Employment rate.
