HYDERABAD: Muslims will get their due share in the 15 lakh jobs to be created in the state in the next three years under the Rajiv Education and Employment Mission (Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu). A mechanism will be set up to see that Muslim youth get their share in the jobs to be created in the private sector under the mission.Addressing a meeting organised by the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) at Jubilee Hall on Tuesday, chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy dropped hints to this effect. Kiran Kumar said he could not make an assurance in this regard as the election code is in force in the city.The Centre is also studying the 4 per cent reservation in education and employment to Muslims for their economic uplift. The Muslim reservation is likely to be extended by another five years.MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi alleged that no loans were sanctioned for Muslims by the Minorities Finance Corporation. About 5,700 Muslims applied for loans in 2011. But loans were sanctioned for 123 applicants only and no unit has been grounded so far. The situation was also the same last year, Akbaruddin lamented. Though Muslims are eligible to get 15 per cent share in social security pensions, just 4 per cent of them are getting the benefit. A vast extent of Wakf land in the state was allotted to MNCs and SEZs, the MLA said. MIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi said the chief minister would get political strength if he solves the problems of Muslims as promised.
