BANGALORE: “There is no art. To find the minds and construction in the face,” said William Shakespeare. But, Zane Cuxton proves this saying wrong for he can read faces.Zane, a trained face reader, was in the city recently to conduct a workshop and he informed the participants to treat the face as an index of the mind. UK-based Zane, began learning the art of face reading scientifically out of curiosity. He began as a medical representative in a pharmaceutical company in UK for almost 35 years until DTC international brought him to India for a project.He believes that every scar, line, mole and curve on a person’s face denotes his character—past and present. The temporary lines, which keeps changing with time, show the changes in our life.For example: A mole or a scar on the eyebrow shows poor relationship with siblings while a mole on the right cheek of women and on the left cheek of man shows the spouse being disloyal and the list goes on. “It is a science that is also learnt as an art. Most of it can be proved and is derived from experience and common sense,” says Zane. He candidly admits that some people who attend this course have exploited this course to assume the role of godmen later on. This is the reason why he selects his students carefully. But before we dismiss him as yet another person who uses logic to exploit people, Zane reveals that he has also been hired by the training wing of the police department in Chennai and The National Academy of Customs and Central Excise and Narcotics (NACEN). He trained them in body language and face reading for profiling criminals.Initially interested in body language, he started face reading as a hobby, which eventually led him to start the Academy for Skill and Knowledge that conducts face reading workshops. In the end, he claims that everywhere he goes, people often ask him, ‘Can you read my mind?’
