Aspiring medical students across Telangana have demanded that they should not be made to sit through another exam after the prestigious EAMCET-2 medical entrance test question paper was leaked.

According to criminal investigation department of the state police, two brokers - Vishnuvardhan and Tirumal Rao - have been arrested and many have been detained for questioning.

Investigations have revealed that students were taken to camps set up in at least five cities, about three days prior to the exam, and were given a practice test with the leaked copies of two question papers containing 320 questions with correct answers.
The brokers charged the students and their parents nearly Rs 50 lakh for the question papers.
During the investigation, some of the brokers who are from Hyderabad, Bangalore and other places have been identified.
More than 100 students, parents, coaching centres and officials are under the scanner. The probe reveals that the question paper was leaked from a printing press in Delhi.
After Telangana DGP submitted its report to the government on Thursday, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called a high-level meeting. Decision on whether the examination will be held again or not is awaited.
EAMCET-2 rankers and their parents demanded strict punishment like debarring the students from taking any exams and cases against their parents who chose such fraudulent means.
