Depressed woman hangs self

BANGALORE: Unable to bear alleged harassment by her husband, a primary school teacher ended her life by hanging herself. The incident was reported in Mallasandra in Peenya police station limits on Sunday morning. The deceased has been identified as Tara (26). She was married to one Manjunath. According to the police, Manjunath allegedly had an affair with a woman and he had plans to marry her. He allegedly forced Tara for divorce, for which she had refused. Manjunath was allegedly harassing her over the issue from a few months. Dejected over this, Tara hanged herself from the ceiling fan at her residence on Saturday night when her husband was away.
