Delhi: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will hold a draw for its 2014 housing scheme on Wednesday.

The scheme offers 25 thousand flats in various categories and prices, ranging from rupees 7 lakh rupees to 1.2 crores - over 10 lakh people have applied under this flagship scheme.

The DDA, in a unique initiative, will also webcast the draw by telecasting it live on YouTube.

The DDA had postponed the date of draw of lots for its housing scheme. It was slated to take place on November 11 but only a mock draw was carried out on Tuesday.

DDA had received an overwhelming response to its housing scheme with its website crashing down as soon as the application forms were made available online.
