The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) had conducted the Joint CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Lecturership (NET) on 18th June 2017, this year.

Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2017 Test Result has been declared by the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research on its official website - csirhrdg.res.in.

The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) had conducted the Joint CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Lecturership (NET) on 18th June 2017, this year.

The test was conducted for various subjects viz chemical science, earth science, life science, mathematical science and physical science. The research fellowship for the selected JRFs will commence from 1st January 2018.

A total of 1858 candidates have qualified the JRF (NET) CSIR, 1500 candidates have qualified JRF (NET) UGC and 95 candidates have qualified the JRF (NET); these are also eligible for Lecturership-NET. 3597 candidates have qualified the Lecturership (NET). Step 1 – Visit the official website - http://csirhrdg.res.in

Step 2 – Click on the result notification, JOINT CSIR-UGC NET Exam June 2017 Result

Step 3 – CTRL+F with your Roll Number

Step 4 – Download the result and take a print out

The results pdf contains the roll numbers of the candidates who’ve got through as a JRF and bears their Rank in front of it. As per the official notification, ‘Ranks are allotted first to all successful candidates qualifying for Junior Research Fellowship as per the merit list of JRF and then the candidates are distributed between CSIR and UGC in the ratio of number of fellowships shared between these two for each subject except Bachelor’s degree holder’s who are allocated to CSIR.’

CSIR has also published the minimum Cut-off for Junior Research Fellowship (NET) and Eligibility for Lecturership for each reservation category. As per the minimum cut-off list, the cut off for JRF is higher than the cut-off for Lectureship in all subjects. Candidates can access the same at:
