ARMOOR (NIZAMABAD DISTRICT): Tensions rose on the second day of YSRC president Jagan Mohan Reddy's Rythu Deeksha on Wednesday when activists of CPI (ML)New Democracy tried to barge into the venue, between Armoor and Perkit in Nizamabad district.
They tried twice to obstruct the Deeksha but were dispersed by policemen. Raising 'Jai Telangana' slogans, the protestors wanted Jagan to announce his stance on Telangana. At one point, the CPI (ML) activists and YSRC workers clashed, but the situation was brought under control with the intervention of police.
