Congress seeks probe against BSY

BANGALORE:  The Congress has urged Governor H R Bhardwaj to order an inquiry into the allegations made by chairman of the Handloom Development Corporation and BJP leader M D Laxminarayana that huge sums were given by former CM B S Yeddyurappa to party leaders to fight elections.Submitting a memorandum to the governor here on Monday, former Bangalore mayor P R Ramesh said Laxminarayana had alleged that Yeddyurappa gave `25 crore to fight the Udupi-Chickmagalur Lok Sabha by-election, and `60 crore as BBMP election expenditure.
