Noida: The police on Saturday remanded Mohinder Singh Pandher, a factory owner, and his servant Satish in police custody following the gruesome Noida serial killing case.
The two men were first produced before the duty magistrate in a local court, who then remanded them to police custody to enable further interrogation of the two suspects.
Police had asked for five days' custody.
A case has been registered against the two under various sections of IPC, including rape, murder, kidnapping and criminal conspiracy, SSP R K S Rahore told reporters.
The number of bodies found in a drain near bungalow D-5 in Noida’s Sector 31 since Friday now stands at 15. The bungalow is near Nithari village where 38 children have disappeared in the last one year.
Satish, a domestic help at the bungalow is already under arrest for the murders of children whose bodies were then thrown in the drain stuffed in gunny backs.
