New Delhi: The CBI has released photographs and sketches of two people suspected to be involved in the bomb blast at Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad.

One portrait released shows a man with specs in the age group of 30 to 35 years, of medium built with a fair complexion.

The second suspect is in the age group of 25-30 years, has a medium built with wheatish complexion.

Nine people were killed and 58 injured in the blast that took place on May 18 this year.

The CBI has also announced a cash reward of Rs 2 lakh to anyone who gives information leading to the arrest of the suspects.

Police in Hyderabad believe that the Bangladesh-based HUJI was behind the blast and its activist Bilal, a resident of Hyderabad, had designed the plot. A phone call from Bangladesh was believed to have detonated the Improvised Explosive Device, stuffed with RDX and TNT in the mosque.

The Bengal link to the blast gained ground after reports said that Bilal had arrived in Kolkata last month from Gujarat.
