BANGALORE: Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa, who attended the last day of the party’s national executive meeting in Mumbai, held elaborate talks with BJP national president Nitin Gadkari and senior party leader Arun Jaitley on the recent developments in the state unit.According to sources, Yeddyurappa held two-rounds of talks with Gadkari and Jaitley for over an hour, and explained them the recent developments in the state. He is also reported to have complained against chief minister D V Sadananda Gowda and state BJP president K S Eshwarappa and their “hobnobbing with the JD(S)”.Gadkari and Jaitley assured Yeddyurappa to set right things, and asked him not to take any “hasty decision”, sources said. They also advised him to take part in party meetings and not to make statements against leaders. Yeddyurappa also met Gujarat CM Narendra Modi.Following the assurance by the duo, Yeddyurappa has reportedly decided to attend state BJP core committee meeting on Saturday to finalise the candidates for the Legislative Council elections from the Assembly. The meeting is also expected to decide on celebrating completion of four years of BJP government. All senior leaders, and ministers have been invited for the meeting.
