But two years after the HC order, the  state government had failed to initiate any action against wine stores, hotels and dhabas serving liquor without licences and charging more than MRP for liquor.Hearing the petition, a Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Virkramjit Sen and Justice BV Nagarathna directed the authorities to take action and file a report and adjourned the case for further hearing.Bellary votes: Plaint alleges irregularitiesThe complainant M Chandre Gowda again approached the HC on Friday alleging that the recounting of votes in Bellary constituency to Lok Sabha was not conducted according to the law.The petitioner contended that according to HC directions, the Bellary Deputy Commissioner had conducted the recounting of votes but he had not followed the directions during the course.
