Criticising ruling Samajwadi Party for presenting vote-on-account in the Budget session, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Thursday said that move was taken keeping in mind the Lok Sabha polls.
"The Budget session of the state Assembly is going on and SP government should have presented the budget instead of vote-on-account. The move shows that the state government was keeping Lok Sabha polls in mind and would table its budget after elections", Leader of opposition, Swami Prasad Maurya told reporters.
Opposition parties had been criticising SP government, which will be presenting vote-on-account on Friday instead of the Budget.
"The SP government has nothing to do with the development of the state. It's objective is to distribute money meant for development among its men", Maurya alleged. He also criticised the SP government for poor law and order in the state.
