BANGALORE: Paul Francis Meekins, 38, a British national, who was working as the headmaster of Trio World School at Sahakaranagar, was arrested on charges of asking sexual favours from a 14-year-old student recently. He is again held by the police for producing fake documents to the school management.The school management, which had launched an inquiry about his past, learnt that the Doctor of Philosophy certificate of the University of Sheffield dated January 27, 2004 was a fabricated document. Also, he reportedly had multiple passports, which he mentioned to one of his colleagues.Following this, the management had filed a case with the police. Based on that the Kodigehalli police arrested the London-based man for the second time. However, the police said that he did not have fake passport. Meekins was accused of asking sexual favour from a seventh grade student at the school. Also, he allegedly sent vulgar messages while chatting with the boy on a popular social networking site. He was arrested in the case and was granted bail by a court. He was also dismissed by the school management following the charges. Meanwhile, the Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child rights is inquiring into the violation of child rights by Paul Meekins.
