BANGALORE: Two police officers were arrested by the Bangalore Rural District Lokayukta Police in Doddaballapur while accepting bribe from a person.
The Lokayukta police based on a complaint filed by one Ambarish, from whom the Police SubInspector Rayanna and Circle Police Inspector C R Ranganath had demanded bribe.The accused police officials were caught taking Rs 13,000 bribe from the complainant.

A young pedestrian was killed on the spot after a speeding bike hit him. The incident took place on Old Madras Road in Avalahalli police station limits in the outskirts of the city on Tuesday night. The identity of the deceased, who is aged about 25-30 years, is yet to be ascertained, the police said.
