A 22-year-old Manipuri student was allegedly attacked by three men in North East Bengaluru on Wednesday evening.

Bengaluru: A 22-year-old Manipuri student was allegedly attacked by three men in North East Bengaluru on Wednesday evening.

According to police, the victim noticed three men eve-teasing a girl. When the student objected to this, one of the men allegedly hit the student. The student then went to Kothanur police station to report the incident.

The boy has sustained injuries on his head and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police are on the lookout for the three men who are said to be labourers from Andhra Pradesh. An FIR has been registered at Kothanur police station.
