Beauty queen caught in sex racket
Kamna Choudhary's father RS Choudhary has filed charges of rape against his son-in-law Hemant and his friends.

New Delhi: After Miss Jammu Anara Gupta, another small-town beauty queen has fallen prey a sex scandal.

This time around, it is former Miss Agra Kamna Choudhry who has allegedly been sexually exploited by her husband and his friends.

Kamna's father RS Choudhary has filed charges of rape against his son-in-law Hemant and his friends.

He has also alleged that Hemant had filmed Kamna on a VCD during the sexual act.

Kamna Choudhry was crowned Miss Agra in 2003 and the same year she married her college sweetheart Hemant against her father's wishes.

The very next year her homeopath father filed a petition in the Supreme Court charging his own son-in-law with kidnap and rape. He also alleged that the local police was hand-in-glove with the "criminals."

Fearing that her daughter may have been sold off, Choudhary also alleged that Kamna and Hemant's marriage certificate was fake.

But the couple denies the allegations. "He did not do anything. I am very happy with him," Kamna said.

"He (Kamna?s father) has falsely accused me and my family including my 80 ?year-old uncle of gang rape," Hemant said.

Kamna's parents, however, have a completely different take on the story. They maintain she is under threat and that was why she was not telling the real story.

Meanwhile the blame game continues. Kamna and her husband also fear that their baby who is with the Choudhry family will not be returned to them.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has also issued notices to the Uttar Pradesh Government and some of its senior police officials on a RS Choudhary's petition.

A Bench of Justice KG Balakrishnan and Justice PP Naolekar sought response from the police officials of the rank of IGP, SSP and SSP of Reserve Police Line, Agra on the Habeas Corpus petition filed by Chaudhary.

In the petition, it was alleged that the family failed to get justice even after approaching the Allahabad High Court and that the Women Cell of Agra Police forced her to give statements in favour of the accused persons.

Altogether there are 16 respondents in the case and the petitioner said the facts of the case since May 1, 2004 establishes the collusion and connivance of accused persons with police.
