United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will begin a two-day official visit to Pakistan on August 13 during which he will interact with the country's top leadership.
Ban will call on President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and meet the Advisor to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz.
The Secretary-General will be a special guest at the flag hoisting ceremony on August 14, Pakistan's Independence Day.
