ASI among three cops suspended

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: SP, Rural, A Akbar has suspended three policemen attached to Parassala Police station, Additional SI Vinod Kumar, head constable M I Shaji and police driver Praveen Das in connection with the mysterious disappearance of a lorry that was confiscated for smuggling spirit. They were suspended after a departmental inquiry found the three officers prima facie responsible for the disappearance of the vehicle.
