As the latest trends reflected BJP's win in Rajasthan and the party workers and supporters took to the roads to celebrate a yet-to-be-announced-victory, a confident Vasundhara Raje attributed the success to none other than the Narendra Modi factor.
"We will form government in Rajasthan. I dedicate my victory to people of Rajasthan. I thank them and my party workers. Narendra Modi ji is a huge contributor to our success and his shadow and guidance is of prime importance to us," Vasundhara Raje said.
Taking a dig at Ashok Gehlot for tasting defeat in assembly elections, she said," People of Rajasthan are fed up of bad governance delivered by Congress for all these years."
Meanwhile, Ashok Gehlot also took a dig at Vasundhara Raje even though he conceded defeat. "We had really expected to win in Rajasthan," he said.
"Our campaign was on development, we wanted to develop the state. Our schemes were very good, people will remember us for this. During BJP's election rallies in Rajasthan, they spread lies about Congress' governance. BJP's allegations that we made welfare schemes in the last 6 months only for our greed to get votes in the elections are totally baseless," he further added.
