New Delhi: For the second day on Wednesday, the arguments of the defence in the Indian Oil Sales Manager Manjunath murder case continued in the district court at Lakhimpur-Kheri in Uttar Pradesh.
Arguments on behalf of the prosecution had concluded on Tuesday.
District Judge S M Abdi deferred the hearing till on Thursday as the defence arguments remained inconclusive.
Manjunath, an IIM- Lucknow graduate, was killed at Lakhimpur-Kheri on November 15, 2005 and his body was recovered a few days later in the neighbouring Sitapur district.
Seven accused persons, including the owner of a petrol pump, are facing trial in the district court in connection with the killing of Manjunath.
