KOCHI: The First Class Judicial Magistrate granted bail to Saju Kadavilan, Rajeev Cheruvara and R Ramandharan in 11 cases of Apple-A-Day scam on Friday. The cases were registered against the company for cheating many people for the New Kochi project, which was part of the Apple-A-Day real estate project in Cherthala.With the granting of bail in the 11 out of 163 cases, Saju Kadavilan, Rajeev Cheruvara and R Ramandharan will be released on bail by Saturday.The investigating officer, Sub Inspector Anil George said that the accused will be released after processing the bail order, most probably by Saturday.The company had cheated 186 people by taking money in advance for the project. The accused were booked under sections 406 and 420 of the IPC for criminal breach of trust and for cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property respectively.
