Pak's Human Rights Commission chief will be present for the hearing.

Amritsar: The 13-year old Pakistani boy, Mohammad Ateeq, who accidentally crossed over into India will be produced in an Amritsar court on Friday.

Pakistan's Human Rights Commission Chairperson Asma Jehangir will also be present for the hearing before the Juvenile Justice Board.

Ateeq's family in Lahore is praying for a reunion with the boy. Aslam was arrested last month for coming to Indian without legal documents and has been in an Amritsar prison.

He had boarded a train to escape punishment by his father. The train took him to Lahore railway station from where he boarded another train, without knowing it was the Samjhauta Express and crossed over into Indian through the international border at Attari.

He has been charged under the Indian Passports Act.
