After the controversy over laddus at the Tirupati Balaji temple, a host of new decisions are being taken about religious offerings at temples. Recently, a seminar of Dharma Raksha Sangh was organized at Shri Bhagwat Mandiram at Parikrama Marg Gopal Khar under the chairmanship of Mahamandaleshwar Swami Krishnanand Maharaj.
In the seminar, a proposal was made to bring about major changes in the offering system of temples across the country after the incident at Tirupati Balaji temple.
The national president of Dharma Raksha Sangh Saurabh Gaur said that Dharma Raksha Sangh will prepare a blueprint of the Sanatanis and the most pure system of offerings will be made according to Hindu faith in the presence of big organizations associated with Sanatan Dharma, Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti, Shri Kashi Vidyut Parishad, four Shankaracharyas along with major religious leaders and saints.
National Vice President of Dharma Raksha Sangh, Mahant Devanand Paramhans said that in all the temples of India, devotees should get seasonal fruits along with Panchameva and cardamom seeds and sugar candy as Prasad as per ancient practice.
Mahamandaleshwar Swami Krishnanand Maharaj, Dharma Raksha Sangh General Secretary Shridas Prajapati, Ravikant Gautam, Brajkishore Pachauri, Amit Krishna Shastri, Dhruv Sharma Mayank Dixit and other dignitaries were present in the seminar.
Under the new decision, from now on, ghee made from cowshed will be offered inside the sanctum sanctorum. Panchameva, fruits, batasha and sugar candy will be offered for distribution among the devotees.
