Alagiri cheated in granite business

CHENNAI:  Industries minister S P Velumani has alleged that Union minister M K Alagiri and his associates have swindled huge sums of money in granite business. He said licences to private players in granite business have been cancelled and action would be taken against the errants. He made this charge while responding to the allegation made by Puthiya Thamilagam president K Krishnasamy that the elder son of a former CM had earned `1.45 lakh-crore in minerals business in a few villages around Madurai.
