'...After Killing Muslims': Jaish-e-Mohammed Issues Threat Over Ram Mandir But 'Situation in Control'

Pakistan-backed terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed on Friday night issued threats to the Ram Temple in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya. In a statement, the terror outfit said that the Mandir is going to be inaugurated after the ‘killing of innocent Muslims’.

Following the threat, Ayodhya has been put on high alert. Top intelligence sources have said that the situation is under control at the moment and all necessary precautions are being taken.

The top sources noted that the nation’s security is already on high alert ahead of the Republic Day celebrations on January 26.

Sources termed the terror group’s statement to be meaningless. “Jaish’s statement is meaningless and they are proxies of Pakistan ISI,” top sources stated.

While threatening Ayodhya’s Ram Temple, JeM even said that the situation is similar to that of Al Aqsa.

The Al Aqsa mosque is the third-holiest site in Islam and is administered by Jordan. Non-Muslims are permitted to visit the site, but not pray there.

The mosque has always been a trigger point in the tensions between Israel and Palestine. Even in April last year, the Israeli police clashed with the Palestinian’s inside the Al Aqsa mosque, sparking an exchange of rockets and air strikes.

Armed police in riot gear had stormed the mosque’s prayer hall before dawn, with the goal of dislodging “law-breaking youths and masked agitators” who had barricaded themselves inside following evening prayers.

The ‘pran pratishtha‘ ceremony of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir is scheduled to take place on January 22 between 12:15 pm and 12:45 pm. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be presiding over the ceremony along with Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

The event is expected to witness thousands of guests in attendance as invitations have been extended to over 7,000 people from various fields and professions.
